MI6 Map

The principle aim of MI6 is to gather intelligence on the political, military and economic activities of overseas countries. It is almost entirely an offensive intelligence service - counter intelligence work is done by the sister service, MI5. The objective of MI6 is - in short - to steal the secrets of other countries. Most of the secrets are stolen by MI6 officers working abroad under cover as British diplomats. They steal secrets by bribing the nationals of foreign countries who have secret knowledge - such as Army officers, politicians, civil servants -  into handing over their secrets. MI6's principle objective is thus to persuade people to break the laws of their own country.

If you want to find out who is breaking the laws of your own country, just click on your home country on the map below to find your nearest MI6 office!
